First edition first printing of this collection of 23 short stories by members of ths Mystery Writers of America. Ross MacDonald, Ellery Queen, Stanley Ellin just to name of few fo the authors. There is a 2 inch semi closed tear to the front panel bottom edge next to the spine. And a second 1/2 inch closed tear to the same edge opposite corner. On the top corner, same panel, there are two 1/2 inch sticker scars. In very good / good condition.
